Who is out, doubtful or questionable, why, and when they are expected back, with the teams playing tonight first. Status changes move prices before the research does.
“Expected back” is the date the team or outlet reported: an estimate, not a promise.

Gifford likely picked up the injury at some point during the first half of Monday's game. He was working in an elevated role defensively due to the absences of Dre Greenlaw (suspension) and Garret Wallow (hamstring), so Tatum Bethune should see a larger workload on defense for as long as Gifford is out of the game. |

Mike EvansWR · 8h agoAchilles · Tendinitis · Right · Back Oct 25 · 8h ago | Questionable | Achilles · Tendinitis · Right | Oct 25 | Listed as questionable heading into Monday after failing to practice all week while nursing the Achilles issue in addition to fractured ribs, Evans suited up but lasted just two quarters before aggravating the Achilles injury. He still delivered for fantasy managers with three receptions for 94 yards on five targets, but the veteran wideout's latest setback on the health front could put him in danger of missing his first game of the season. Before deciding on Evans' status for Sunday's game, the 49ers will likely continue to rest him during practices throughout the week and see how he bounces back from the Achilles tendinitis. With a bye on tap in Week 8, the 49ers may be incentivized to hold Evans out against the Falcons to ensure he's in optimal health for the second half of the season. |

Christian KirkWR · YesterdayCalf · Back Oct 25 · Yesterday | Injured Reserve | Calf | Oct 25 | After having his 21-day practice window opened Thursday, Kirk looked to have a realistic chance at returning from injured reserve in Week 6, especially in light of the depleted state of the 49ers receiving corps. However, with Kirk managing only limited participation from Thursday through Saturday, the 49ers will give him at least one more week to increase his practice activity before potentially bringing him back from IR. San Francisco will have Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles) -- if active -- along with Brandin Cooks, Jacob Cowing, Jordan Watkins and Malik Turner as its options at receiver Monday. |
Brandin CooksWR · 17h ago17h ago | Active | — | — | Cooks unsurprisingly played a minor role in the air attack as one of four players with one catch on the night. The veteran wideout has two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown on five targets over the three games for which he's been active to date, and with Demarcus Robinson (ankle) not likely to return from injured reserve until Week 8, Cooks is likely to suit up again in a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday. |
Brock PurdyQB · 18h ago18h ago | Active | — | — | Purdy took multiple sacks for the second straight game after not being taken down over the first four contests, but the veteran signal-caller otherwise had a mostly clean night that included a robust average of 9.1 yards per attempt. Purdy's passing yardage total also was his third highest of the campaign, and he kept his season-long touchdown-pass streak alive when he connected with George Kittle on an 11-yard scoring strike to cap off the opening drive of the night. Purdy completed passes to seven different targets overall, and he now boasts a 14:2 TD:INT heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday. |
Christian McCaffreyRB · 19h ago19h ago | Active | — | — | McCaffrey, who's been subject to a markedly lighter workload than usual over the first weeks of the campaign, recorded season highs in rush attempts, receptions, receiving yards and targets on a very busy night. The star running back also contributed his second multi-touchdown tally of the season, powering into the end zone on a pair of one-yard runs in the first half. McCaffrey logged twice as many carries and nine more targets than rookie backfield mate Kaelon Black, so there's no question who the leader of the ground attack is heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday. |
Colton McKivitzOT · 3d ago3d ago | Active | — | — | — |
Dre GreenlawLB · 28m ago28m ago | Active | — | — | — |
Enrique Cruz Jr.OT · 6h ago6h ago | Active | — | — | — |
George KittleTE · 18h ago18h ago | Active | — | — | Kittle was one of Brock Purdy's most effective targets on the night, finishing with the 49ers' second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals. The athletic tight end also was on the other end of Brock Purdy's one touchdown pass, recording an 11-yard scoring grab to cap off the opening possession of the night. Kittle has at least four receptions in five consecutive games and Monday night's receiving yardage total or higher in four of his first six contests of the season, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday. |
Gracen HaltonDT · 23h ago23h ago | Active | — | — | — |
James Thompson Jr.DT · 3d ago3d ago | Active | — | — | Thompson hasn't played since Week 2 against the Dolphins after playing 35 percent of the defensive snaps across the first two weeks of the season. He'll slide back into his depth role along the defensive line behind Osa Odighizuwa and Naquan Jones. |
Kaelon BlackRB · 18h ago18h ago | Active | — | — | Black logged half as many carries as Christian McCaffrey and a whopping nine fewer targets, cementing the pecking order in the 49ers' ground attack. However, Black is getting some nice complementary run as a rookie, as he's logged 45 carries over his first six games. Black has just three targets in that same span, however, so his fantasy upside will remain capped to a large degree in a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday. |
Kurtis RourkeQB · 6h ago6h ago | Active | — | — | — |
Kyle JuszczykFB · 4d ago4d ago | Active | — | — | Juszczyk was cleared to practice without restriction Friday after being limited in Thursday's session. The full practice designation indicates that the veteran fullback has fully recovered from a knee injury and will play against the Commanders on Monday. |
Malik TurnerWR · 23h ago23h ago | Active | — | — | Turner received his second elevation of the season, rejoining the team after playing 17 special-teams snaps in the 49ers' Week 4 win over the Broncos. The wide receiver is set to fill in for Deebo Samuel (hamstring), who will miss the game due to injury. |
Mykel WilliamsDE · 23h ago23h ago | Active | — | — | Williams was activated from IR on Oct. 10 and played in the 49ers' Week 5 win over the Seahawks. The defensive end will suit up for Monday night's game as he works through the final stages of his recovery from ACL surgery in mid-November 2025. |
Naquan JonesDT · 6h ago6h ago | Active | — | — | — |

Upton StoutCB · 23h ago23h ago | Active | — | — | Stout was limited throughout Week 6 prep with a shoulder injury he sustained in the 49ers' Week 4 win over the Broncos. The cornerback has recovered enough to suit up for Monday Night Football opposite fellow cornerback Renardo Green. |
